Interactive Design

During a week long workshop in Copenhagen that was hosted by Linnaeus University, I was asked to develop a product aimed towards both tourists and the inhabitants of the city to explore Copenhagen further in a new way other than a tourist map.

The result was a interactive scavenger hunt where the app utilizes the GPS to activate certain images that would be viewed via the phone’s camera, similiar to a magic lens. With a low production cost the project could be extended where people can create their own personal scavenger hunts and illustrators could utilize the app to create their own view on Copenhagen.

Together with Julia Bergström, we got a contract to make an ad for “101 Saker Jag Lärde Mig I Fashion School”. The brief was to make a commercial with low budget, that works in black and white, without sound and as a GIF. The solution was to make a stop motion clip with bright colors and contrast.

Book

On order of Designarkivet to create a new product to be sold in their museum shop, the approach to this product was to create a design manual for persons without any previous experience of design and craft. The book is very methodical and shows step-by-step to create similar designs to the ones displayed in the Designarkivets own gallery. The book is meant as a introductory to design, via the methods explained you learn how to use tools and as a jumping off point to create own designs.
